Why Exhibit?
This is the one and only convention for the US Coast Guard. If you do business with the Coast Guard or would like to do business with them, this is the place to meet the senior leaders addressing policy and resource changes to improve U.S. Coast Guard services and operations.
2010 USCG Budget Request $9,955,663,000
NEW The US Coast Guard has a lot of exciting sustainability/environmental/green efficiency initiatives being implemented including:
· Oil spill bioremediation
· TRACEN Petaluma photovoltaic field
· Cape May wind powered electrical generation
· Sector Northern New England's tidal ocean power generation
The 2010 Innovation Expo has created a new "green zone” on the exhibit floor, to focus the USCG commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability.
These exhibit spaces are for "green" focused initiatives that are realizing cost savings, waste control/management, or Green House Gas (GHG) reductions as a benefit of a sustainability approach or solution.
Additionally, the USCG is challenging each exhibitor, to promote organizational sustainability elements within all their exhibit displays.
