Military Medicine Partnership Conference and Expo

Event #: 7310
 March 6-8, 2017
Turf Valley Conference Center, Ellicott City, MD
POC: Luellen Hoffman, Director of Exhibits, 703-247-9460, lhoffman@ndia.org

This event is the third in a series of annual events.  Sold Out!

The first event took place in March 2015 and focused on USAMRMC missions, goals and objectives.
This second event expands to include the medical research, development, test and evaluation (RDTE) missions across the
Department of Defense (DoD), and will include perspectives from Army, Navy, Air Force and the Defense Health Agency.
This event is an opportunity for science and industry representatives to learn more about the DoD RDTE missions,
programs and gap areas and to better understand the complexities of military medicine in the complex environment
within which the military operates.

The DoD medical community provides world-class medical knowledge, countermeasures, and technologies to protect and
sustain our service men and women throughout their military careers.
There will also be opportunities for representatives of  industry and academia to meet with DoD officials to discuss
their pertinent advances in medical research through advanced development, as well as an exhibit hall for current products.

We invite you to come and participate in this unique opportunity to learn more about military medicine and to help us build
a comprehensive and collaborative network.

Planned Conference Topics include:
• Modeling and Simulation
• Traumatic Brain Injury and Psychological Health
• Human Performance
• Air Evacuation
• Global Health Engagement
• Medical Training and Health Information Sciences
• Joint perspectives on:
     o Military Infectious Diseases
     o Military Operational Medicine
     o Combat Casualty Care
     o Clinical and Rehabilitative Medicine
• Funding Opportunities
o The Medical Technical Enterprise Consortium, a newly formed 501(c)(3) corporation

While the Exhibit Hall is the venue for presentations on new and existing products and services,
these planned “one-on-ones” allow industry and academia to present information regarding their organization’s advances
in science and technology (S&T) and advanced development, specifically as they relate to DoD’s medical RDTE missions.

Attendance from industry, academia, and government health agencies at this event will increase the collaboration of knowledge and
effectiveness within all fields of military medicine.

Opportunity presents itself for new, efficient and effective technologies, to continue to extend the warfighter’s capabilities in life.

It’s more important than ever to bring together industry leaders and service-users, on one stage, in order to explore these emerging trends
and determine the best steps forward.
